This truly old fashioned New England festival will feature everything peachy for you and your family to enjoy at the Festival and to take home.
The New England Peach Festival features famous homemade peach pies and peach pockets, jams (both regular and sugar-free), peach sundae sauce, peach breads and much more. Come early to get your peach pies and peach pockets as they tend to sell out early.
Do a little early Christmas shopping or pick up a unique gift for yourself at the crafts table while the children participate in a fun activity.
Enjoy a great lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs as you sit under the tent listening to live musical entertainment from a variety of local musicians. Quench your thirst with some delicious homemade peach iced tea and treat your sweet tooth to a fabulous peach sundae, peach shortcake or the Works for dessert.
The much anticipated lobster dinner will once again take place after the Festival with sittings at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. The supper features a 1 ¼ lb. Maine lobster, corn on the cob, potato salad, peach bread, peach iced tea and peach shortcake - all for $20 per person. As an alternative, a hamburger dinner with all of the above side dishes is available at $10 per ticket.
Dinner tickets must be purchased by Tuesday, August 13, and are available with cash or check at Lull Farm Milford, Toadstool Book Shop at Lorden Plaza, Milford, the Milford Veterinary Hospital, 188 Elm Street, or by sending a check marked LOBSTER DINNER to Church of Our Saviour at P.O. Box 237, Milford 03055.
Proceeds from the dinner help support our partner parish in Ondjiva, Angola in southwestern Africa. So come and enjoy a great meal, and support a great cause.
