Jesse Card, St. Croix brand ambassador for Cruzan Rum, says the hot new trend for mixed drinks is the classic Tiki drink featuring one or more of the explosion of flavored rums now available from Cruzan.

Made from molasses fermented with yeast and aged in oak barrels, Cruzan has a distinct flavor.

The dark is aged two years and the single barrel for 12 for a smoother taste. The white variety is filtered to remove the classic color. New flavors include key lime and passion fruit for a real taste of the islands.

Looking for some inspiration? Cruzan's website has a wide variety of interesting rum cocktail recipes that range from the Cruzan Hot Toddy to the Cruzan Cheesecake martini. You can also search the recipe database by type of rum or cocktail (seasonal, tropical, etc.). Happy mixing!
