A (craft) league of their own

Take shopping local to a new level with the gorgeous items offered at the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen Fine Craft Galleries. Not only will you find everything from one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces and pottery to prints and furniture, but all the work was created by our own in-state friends, neighbors and families. Why not stop by the nearest location and browse through some of the impressive wares? We’re betting it won’t be your last visit.

Can’t decide on what to buy? Each year, the League sells an ornament designed by one of its members. The tradition began in 1988, and the Annual Ornament has become a must-have holiday treasure. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Annual Ornament and 2017's piece, “Winter's Waltz,” was created by Walker Boyle of Antrim, NH.

Walker was inspired by ice skating in winters past and used the ancient lost wax method of casting combined with modern metal working techniques to create this one-of-a-kind ornament. A frost blue ribbon is attached to the top so it can hang on a tree or wreath. Each one is hand signed, dated and numbered by Walker. The ornament is sold exclusively at League of New Hampshire Craftsmen Fine Craft Galleries and in the online store at www.nhcrafts.org.
